How to import blog subscribers inside Aritic PinPoint?

Inside Aritic PinPoint you can manage various list of subscribers within each segment of contacts feature. To do this, you will have to upload the existing subscribers inside each segment from Aritic PinPoint contact import feature.

You can import exiting list of blog subscribers into your Aritic PinPoint by following this guide.

To start an import, first create a segment with a basic filter having only email address (condition – not empty), within Aritic PinPoint, by the name – “Blog Subscribers“.

After that navigate to Contacts > Contacts > Import > Upload the existing email list > Select the segment, “Blog Subscribers”, map all the options and continue with upload.

Once this import completes successfully, you can navigate to “Blog Subscribers” segment and can view the list of blog subscribers inside this segment.

How to assign an Owner to a lead / contact inside Aritic PinPoint?

You can assign an Owner (Aritic PinPoint User) to each contact (or lead) inside Aritic PinPoint. This feature is used to easily manage contacts based on owners / Aritic PinPoint users. This feature when syncs with a CRM system integration works well in sync and assign contacts to the users/ owners automatically.

There are multiple ways by which you can assign an Owner to a contact (or lead) inside Aritic PinPoint:

1. During the contact import process inside Aritic PinPoint, you can assign Owner. Once this setting is selected then, the system will automatically assign the Owner to each contacts during import process.

2. When contacts come inside Aritic PinPoint through API or any integration, then you can assign an owner through an automation campaign workflow.

3. When contacts come inside Aritic PinPoint through forms, then you can assign an owner through the form setting or can assign an owner through an automation campaign workflow.

How to remove a segment from all automation campaigns?

You can add or remove a segment from an automation campaign at any point of time while build a campaign or editing it.

To remove a segment from all automation campaigns at once; you just need to disable the segment from Segment dashboard and done!

After you have disabled the segment; then none of the automation campaigns would be able to deliver email campaigns.

You can add or remove a segment from an email campaign at any point of time while build a campaign.

After you have disabled (unpublished) the segment; then none of the email campaigns will go to the contacts appearing inside this segment.

How to Manage Contact or Lead Lists

Inside Aritic PinPoint, all the available Contacts inside Contacts dashboard can be categorized among the Segments. The Segment option is available inside Contacts > Segments from left menu of Aritic PinPoint dashboard. Each segment can have their own filters and based on the filter conditions, the contacts inside each segment will be updated automatically. The moment a contact fulfills the segment filter condition, it gets added to the relevant segment.

All the segments in Aritic PinPoint are dynamic. And, a detail on how to use segments is here.

Note: Aritic PinPoint does not have any list; although, you can use all the feature of list management with Segments.

Automatically Downgrade Contact into a Segment List

1. Login into Aritic Pinpoint account

2. Click on Aritic Pinpoint Dashboard.

3. Click on Automation Campaign.

4. On the top right corner of Aritic PinPoint , click on NEW.

5. Enter the required field and Click on LAUNCH CAMPAIGN BUILDER.

6. The Campaign Builder is now launched, you can make the following actions here:

Aritic PinPoint supports dynamic segmentation. However, sometimes you may feel the need to intervene in setting your lead segmentation right. You can easily downgrade a lead into a list by building a campaign and mentioning the trigger for the same. Below are the steps to do this.

[A] Contact Segment: Here you can find the existing segments that are already created, the segment(s) will be automatically added to the campaign.

[B] Campaign Forms: You can add the existing forms from your account or even create a new form and then add it here.

[C] Create New Segment: You can create a new segment here if you have not created one yet.

7. Enter the name of the campaign builder. Click on ADD.

8. Select any option as given in condition.

9. Hare, you can change the contact’s details like a within a relative time period. Click on ADD.

10. Execute this event if the contact does not take action by a specific time/ date and. Click on ADD.

11. After created the campaign builder you can be closed when you will click on“Close builder”

12. Click on Save & Close

13. Click on “Close”.

14. Once you complete all producer of creating the campaign builder it will display here as shown in the screenshot.

How to add email personalization token to subject line?

To personalize email template body and email subject you can use email personalization tags directly inside the email subject line and it will work for the campaigns automatically.

List of all email personalization tags are available here.

For example, you want to get the subject line like this:

[First Name], This is the subject line

Then you can update the subject line like this – inside email template and email campaign:

{contactfield=firstname}, This is the subject line

Above tag, {contactfield=firstname} will automatically resolve into contacts first name inside the sent campaigns.

Note: These email personalization tags might not work inside the test email campaigns.

How to clone or copy an automation campaign?

You can quickly clone or copy an automation campaign from the Automation Campaign dashboard. To do this, you need to head to Automation Campaign from left menu and from the dashboard, select a campaign from right and click on Clone button.

After this, you will get to the setting of new Automation Campaign; save the campaign and get back to the dashboard.

How to clone or copy a contact and company?

Since the contact and company profiles inside the Aritic PinPoint are unique values, it is not recommended to make a clone or copy of a contact and company. That is why, the Contact and Company are unique values so, they cannot be cloned or copied inside Aritic PinPoint.

Marketing assets, segments, marketing stages, lead scores, score triggers and campaigns can cloned.

Move a contact into a New Segment if they open an email

When you start building your automation campaign, you can put down the exact directives for your email engagement. For instance, here we will see how you can automate another segment update for those contacts who open your email template in a particular campaign within the Aritic PinPoint campaign builder.

Follow the steps below:

1. Go To Aritic PinPoint dashboard.

2. Click on Automation campaign.

3. Click on New.

4. Fill the initial entries and click on “Launch Campaign Builder”.

5. Click on Contact Segment.

6. Choose the Segment to move the contact from that segment to another segment and Click on ADD.
