Credit Notes
Credits List
There are cases when the customer no longer wants the service or item requested, and you need to apply a refund or credit for the customer, this is where the Credits feature comes into play.
Go to the Left Navigation -> Click on “Sales” -> Click on “Credit Notes“.
Overview
The credits list page is an outline of all the credits issued to all customer and includes the columns below:
- Credit Note: Name of the Credit Nore.
- Credit Note Date: The date on which the Credit Note is created.
- Customer: Name of the Customer.
- Status: Credit note status (e.g., Open, Closed, Void)
- Amount: Credit note total amount.
To create new Credit note, Click on the “New Credit Note”.
The Create credits page has some following fields.
- Customer: Select the required customer from the drop down.
- Currency: Currency used for this credit note.
- Credit Note date: Provide the date for the Credit Note.
- Credit Note: Provide the name of the Credit Note and fill out all required fields.
Click on Save to save your new credit.
