Set up SPF and DKIM for Better Email Deliverability

You can improve your email deliverability by incorporating SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) into your DNS Settings. When you are doing DNS entries, you convey to your subscribers that you’ve authorized Aritic PinPoint to deliver your emails on your behalf. Otherwise, your emails will enter the spam folder as addressed in your email campaigns from your domain but delivered from an IP address with an Aritic PinPoint domain.

How to set up SPF?
If you miss adding SPF record on your domain, ask your network admin to add the following line to your DNS entries. You can even replace [domain] with the main domain of your website (ex. “company.com”) and [corpIP] with the IP address of your corporate email server. If you deliver emails from multiple domains through Aritic PinPoint, you should include this in each domain.

How to set up DKIM?

You can consider DKIM as an authentication protocol that can be used by email receivers for determining if an email message was delivered by who it says was sent by. So, DKIM helps in improving the email deliverability to the inbox since a receiver can be confident that the message is not a forgery.
