Using Wildcards to Filter Web URLs

Inside Aritic PinPoint you can use Wildcards to filter the URL based page visits. This can be used inside the the URL in the campaign action (Automation Workflow) that can match exactly the URL visited or use a wildcard. You can also use this inside the Lead Score/ Reports, etc.

Note: A URL can include the schema, host/domain, path, query parameters, and/or fragment.

You can use following wildcards inside the URL filter of Aritic PinPoint:

www.example.com/index.html — filter for a particular page
www.* — filter all URL addresses starting with www.
*whitepaper* — filter all URL addresses containing the whitepaper string
*blog??.com* — filter all URL addresses containing such strings as blog.com, blogetc.com, etc.
