Trouble Email Display Issues in Yahoo and Outlook Mailbox

Inside the Aritic PinPoint application, you can design email campaigns that look great in all email clients. You may face problems displaying your email campaigns in Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2019 as they use Microsoft Word to render HTML email. Microsoft Word is made for print design and tries to render HTML in print preview. And it looks different from what it may have been designed and tested in another version.

You can survey to analyze the most used version of Outlook by subscribers. Accordingly, you can design and test the latest version. You can use the Inbox preview tool to check out how the emails will appear in Outlook. At the same time, you can deliver a test email and view the email campaign directly in that version of Outlook, if it is possible.

Stop ignoring padding around the images

You can’t ignore set padding and margins around the images in Outlook. You can even push the wrapped text against the image for that reason. Here are some of the ways:

  1. You can use a photo-editing program to include a border around your image of the same color as the background of your email campaigns. After making so many changes, now you can upload the image to your email campaign. As padding is part of the image, so Outlook can’t ignore it.
  2. You can easily access the source code from the <> button in the editor toolbar of the text block. You can even add vspace and hspace in the tag for your image.

You may face difficulty in loading, rescaling, and clipping a long image in Outlook. Generally, the limit for the image length is approximately 1728 px tall. You can clip the excess off the image top in Outlook. If you can’t minimize the size of your image to under 1728px tall, you have access to crop the image into separate images. You can even add multiple image blocks to the email campaigns for uploading each part of the image if you are using a drag and drop template.

You can find white space inserted above an image as Outlook renders HTML using Microsoft Word. This issue is occurring as Outlook renders email on a computer screen based on the print preview.

With the help of Aritic application, you can design great email templates for marketing campaigns. Well, the version of Outlook 2007 creates problems with email campaign display.

Microsoft Word is mainly for print design, so email campaigns look different from what you have designed and tested. Generally, Outlook ignores margins and sets padding around images for email campaigns. So, the wrapped text gets pushed against the image and the look becomes different for email campaigns.
