Import Contacts As “Do Not Contact” inside Contacts

In Aritic PinPoint, you can import contacts and set them as “Do not contact”. Sometimes you may need to import opt-out contacts i.e. contacts who do not wish to receive any communications from you.

1. Open your .CSV file. Add a new column into your CSV file. In this column, the values have to be “yes” or “1” if the contact is opt-out.

2. Click on import, choose your file and the separator, and validate. In the mapping, you will have to map the column previously created with the “Do not contact” property field.

Here are how contacts are imported:

Both contacts are set as “Do not contact“. They are in the database but they won’t receive any communications.
