How Does Auto-Fill Data Work inside a Form?

Forms built inside Aritic PinPoint can include the ‘auto-fill’ feature. This feature automatically fills in details of contacts who have already submitted one or more forms previously or are contacts that are already part of your ‘identified contacts’ segment. This feature comes handy, especially when used with Progressive Profiling feature. Contacts are identified automatically based on the details collected previously. The form fields that are common, like name, email address, etc. are pre-filled, saving time for contacts.

Login to your Aritic PinPoint dashboard > Assets (left sidebar) > Forms.

Click on +Design new form as shown in the screenshot.

Enter details about the form on the Details tab. In the Fields tab, add fields like +Email (or as relevant for your form).

Map the Email with field name email, then click on the behavior tab and select yes for autofill option. Make sure you turn Show when a value exists to yes. Click on Add > Save and close.
